Action Adventure Activities runs a multi-activity outdoor centre at Easterhill, Gartmore, on the A81 just outside Aberfoyle on the southern edge of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The ground and woodland around the site are used for a range of land-based and water-based activities aimed at individuals, families and organised groups.
The motorised activities are the best known: off-road 4x4 driving over a built course, quad biking on woodland trails, and off-road buggies. Target sports cover archery, air-rifle shooting and laser combat, and the centre also runs paintball for larger groups. Rope and height activities include abseiling and climbing, and the water programme adds gorge walking and tubing on suitable days. Sessions can be booked singly or combined into a half-day or full-day package.
Much of the trade is group bookings: stag and hen parties, corporate team days, youth groups and family celebrations, with activities mixed to suit the party and the season. Younger children are catered for with scaled-down options, and instructors run each activity with the safety equipment provided.
The Gartmore base puts the centre within easy reach of Aberfoyle, Callander and the wider Trossachs, and it works as a wet-weather and active-day alternative to the area’s walking and cycling. Easterhill, Gartmore, FK8 3SA. Activity lists, prices and group bookings by phone on 01877 382875 or via the Action Adventure Activities website.
