Strontian Hotel

The hotel is an ideal base from which to explore the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, its beautiful beaches and ancient woodlands. Here you can get closer to many native species of wildlife inhabiting the area via land, air or water, and your location gives you a ringside seat to enjoy all these treasures in all their glory, such as otters, golden and white tail eagles, pine martens and seals.

 For those that want to stay connected to make the most of their trip, there is free WIFI and we can help with booking and planning most of your day trips; whether it be to see the old ruins of Castle Tioram, hiring a self-drive boat or enjoying a guided wildlife tour. We are in an ideal location for those travelling to and from the Isle of Mull or on to the Isle of Skye via the local Calmac Ferries, as well as a climb up Ben Nevis as we are only 25 miles from Fort William and Ben Nevis and just thirty minutes to the Ferries across to Mull. 

For those cyclists and motorcyclists amongst you we can place your cycles in a safe secure location and offer drying facilities too. And not to forget the fishermen – permits are available at the Post Office nearby.
