Ballachulish Visitor Centre

We are an independent tourist information centre located in the beautiful village of Ballachulish, one mile from Glencoe Village in the Scottish Highlands. Glencoe is world renound for it’s natural beauty and dramatic history. It attracts visitors from around the world who enjoy adventurous outdoor activies or simply relax surrounded by impressive mountains and tranquil lochs. Pop in and see us to get advice on walks, activities, great places to eat and stay. Our local knowledge means we can point you in the right direction to make the most of the area. In need of refreshment, then our Cafe is just the ticket for a morning full Scottish breakfast, or a hearty lunch. Since opening over a decade a go we have been able to source the finest ingredients and master our recipes to give you hearty food worthy of our Highland Hospitaltiy. Try our full Scottish breakfast to set you up for the day. We have homemade soup and a great range of toasties, baked potatoes, ciabatta’s and don’t forget our iconic club sandwich. Needing something for afters then our selection of tray bakes, homemade cakes and loaves will cure any sweet tooth. We use the finest Mathew Algie coffee which is Triple certified – Fairtrade, organic and Rainforest Alliance approved. It tastes great and is not as harmful to the planet. Trying to go plant based, then we have the menu for you. Our range of vegan cheese and not chicken tastes great and we always have a vegan soup on every day.
